What You'll Be Doing

  • Adhere to safety procedures, witness safe working practices, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch, variable speed wind turbines.
  • Make all mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance, repair, and replacement to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Understand and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Employ electrical test equipment to aid troubleshooting and testing.
  • Work flexibly on a call schedule when necessary. This can involve weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
