The new EC210 hydraulic excavator, a 20-ton machine made especially to meet the exacting specifications of the Indian market, was introduced by Volvo Construction Equipment (CE).  The excavator, which goes by the name "Built for Bharat," focuses on providing the budget-conscious Indian consumer with outstanding performance, remarkable fuel efficiency (up to 15% improvement), and reduced maintenance costs.  In keeping with their campaign theme, "Karo Zyada Ki Umeed" (Expect More), it has a Made-in-India T3 electronic engine and a next-generation positive control hydraulics system for increased accuracy and efficiency in a variety of applications, such as road construction, quarry operations, and general construction.
