Workshop Engineer

Grant Handling is actively recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to work within a depot, you will
report to the workshop manager and will ideally have experience working with materials handling
equipment or similar.
You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults with machinery, preparing new equipment
for delivery and refurbishing of used equipment.
You will be expected to work independently in a safe manner, you will need to be able to
communicate well and need to be able to ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly.

Skills and Experience - Workshop Engineer - Materials Handling

• A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
• Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
• Experience working on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
• Work independently in a safe manner taking into account both your own and other people’s safety.
• The ability to prioritize a busy workload
