As the new year unfolds, Konecranes wastes no time in unveiling two noteworthy advancements within their range of lift trucks: enhanced reach stackers capable of managing heavier empty containers and upgraded spreaders with increased capacity.

           Containers often vary in terms of their loading and unloading status, which is why Konecranes has introduced the SMV 128 TC6 reach stacker designed for semi-loaded and empty containers, boasting a remarkable capacity of up to 12 tons. This innovative addition to their equipment lineup empowers customers with the versatility to efficiently and safely handle a broader spectrum of lighter containers.

          Moreover, Konecranes now offers an upgraded, more robust combi spreader tailored for the handling of laden ISO containers and trailers, compatible with their reach stackers designed for intermodal operations. These lift trucks, known for their combination of a long wheelbase and exceptional maneuverability, can now augment their lifting capacity by an additional metric ton per row.
