We are a service company providing crane hire, rigging and transport services throughout New Zealand. Our core business is crane hire, with a majority of our work being taxi crane hire. 
The prime purpose of this position is to schedule the crane hire booking to match the customers demands and the company resources to ensure customer satisfaction and good utilisation of the company resources. This is a multi-faceted role working closely with other dispatchers and the truck dispatcher and other company representatives, providing a focused and direct environment to achieve the company goals.

About the Role:
•    Receive incoming enquires and allocating resources to meet both the clients and company expectations. 
•    Maintaining job bookings and job scheduling programmes
•    Manage fleet inventory 
•    Assist with permits, and liaise with controlling authorities 
•    Assist with fleet management of annual inspections, RUC, incident reports
•    Provide all staff with necessary information to ensure that they will arrive at their jobs on time and with the right equipment, and sufficient knowledge to complete the task expected of us.
•    Ensure the company assets (vehicles, tools, plant, land and buildings) are kept in good condition and are safe and secure.
•    Contribute to overall Management unit by participating where appropriate
•    Communicate with Lift Consultants to ensure all details and resources are correct.

About you:
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Previous experience in the crane industry preferable
•    Competent knowledge of the relevant Codes of Practice associated with the industry.
•    Competent knowledge of the Health and Safety regulations.
•    Highly developed organisation skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise is essential.
