Engineering Manager Hydraulics

Job description
As a globally active provider, Lindemann Germany GmbH designs, develops and produces first-class premium machines and systems for scrap processing: shredders, shears and presses. These are used in scrap yards and recycling companies as well as in companies in the automotive and aluminum industries or in steelworks and foundries. With around 200 employees in more than ten countries, we also offer a worldwide spare parts service and maintenance services for scrap and metal processing.

To strengthen our engineering department , we are now looking for  a motivated
Engineering Manager Hydraulics (gn)

These are the tasks for this role:
Technical and disciplinary management of the Engineering Team Hydraulics
Identification, conception, further development and evaluation of hydraulic concepts for scrap recycling machines (scrap shears, scrap presses, metal shredders) and associated assemblies
Definition and documentation of requirements, development and test results (specifications, requirements specifications)
Development of solution concepts taking into account functional, manufacturing and economic requirements
Comprehensive organization and coordination of R&D and order processing
Review and preparation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
Support in the specification and calculation of offers for new machines and services

Job requirements
your profile
Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical vocational training in the mechanical engineering field
Proven skills in hydraulics
At least 5 years of professional experience in the development and planning of sophisticated hydraulic concepts and the design and configuration of hydraulic components in heavy machinery construction (presses, shears, forges, etc.)
3D CAD and PLM knowledge (ideally Siemens NX and Teamcenter)
Good MS Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
Eplan knowledge is an advantage
Enjoyment in developing technical solution concepts and their documentation in three-dimensional models, calculations, diagrams, sketches and, if necessary, technical drawings and plans
Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 10%)
First management experience is an advantage
Good written and spoken English and German skills
