Location: West Texas

Work Schedule: 14 on/14 off

Summary

The Hydraulics Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and identifying hydraulics systems.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Knowledge of fluid power formulas
Read and assemble equipment from prints and drawings
Read hydraulic schematics and have a good understanding of symbols
Commissioning hydraulic equipment
Coordinating maintenance and repairs
Collaborating and cross-training with partner departments on other drilling equipment
Maintaining the spare parts inventory and ensuring spares meet safe operating standards
Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations
Be available for 24-hour on-call to the field when required
Excellent troubleshooting skills and resolving hydraulic problems
Reading and assembling equipment from prints and drawings

Education

Minimum 5-10 years experience in the hydraulic industry oilfield preferred

Experience

Hydraulic training or certification would be beneficial
