FDEP: Flow Control with Reverse Flow Check, Electro-Proportional and Pressure Compensated

FDEP represents an electro-proportional variant of the existing FDEA, which is a pressure-compensated flow control with a reverse, free-flow check in a restrictive style. Controlled by Sun Hydraulics’ XMD valve driver, these electro-proportional valves exhibit proportionality from nearly closed to maximum flow. The integral high-capacity check valve facilitates unrestricted flow from port 2 to port 1. Leveraging the valve's proportionality, it is well-suited for gradually ramping up large inertial loads. Applications benefiting from FDEP usage include lift and lower circuits, conveyors, and hydraulic presses. This fully compatible valve allows infinite adjustments using Sun Hydraulics’ XMD controller.
