About the opportunity

As our Freight Handler / Forklift Driver, you’ll be based in our Rockhampton-based StarTrack facility, working with colleagues across our processing and deliveries teams to keep the cogs of our business turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting products on the floor, you’ll support with loading parcels/pallets for our delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road and deliver for Australia like never before. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you. 

This full-time permanent opportunity works Mon-Fri with some overtime required (paid at overtime rates). This role pays $31.26/hr plus 12% super.

We have two opportunities on offer. Don't have a fork license? No problem, as long as you're working towards one please still apply if this role is of interest.

About you 

Hold a valid LF Forklift License (please note due to our safe seat limits, you must be under 120kg)
Be fit enough to lift/load and unload mail/parcel items of all different shapes and sizes frequently around our facilities and into trucks - up to a lifting weight of 30kg.
Be safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening, and national police checks) 
You’re a self-starter who enjoys working in a busy operations environment
