Forklift Operator

General Summary of Position

Forklift Operator is tasked to operate a forklift in moving, storing, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The Operator is also tasked with the safety and efficiency in the operation of the vehicle and might also be asked to fill in as an Order Filler and Checker.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload incoming shipments and transfer product to storage points. Stack and store the merchandise efficiently in its respective areas.
Quality: Verify that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free. Report quality deviations.
Order Picking: Pull and stage product to be shipped, making sure the correct amount and type of product is loaded and shipped. Conduct picking responsibilities in a manner that accommodates customer service requirements.
