Heavy Equipment Operator

Description:

There is a drilling contractor in York, PA seeking travelling construction heavy equipment operators.  This job will involve a lot of travel and will be dealing with the heavy equipment laborers and foremen.  Crews are 4-5 individuals so the candidates will have to be willing to cross train and learn new things.  Operators will potentially have to assist with the laborers and will not solely be operating the equipment all shift.

Requirements:

• Will travel for project-based employment; may be short or long-term projects. States are: Pennsylvania,
• Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Michigan, and Washington, DC.
• At least 5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment and trucks
• Clean driving record
• Must have own equipment
• Will pass a basic weld test or be willing to learn to weld to pass the weld test.
• Volunteer to be cross-trained and acquire new skills.
• Horizontal auger boring, tunneling, pipe jacking, tunnel boring machines, and horizontal directional drilling operations experience is highly beneficial.
