Komatsu introduces new WA700-8 wheel loader

Komatsu has recently introduced the new WA700-8 wheel loader, designed specifically for quarry operations and aggregate producers. This model is an upgrade from the WA700-3, offering significant enhancements in performance, efficiency, and operator comfort. The WA700-8 features up to 8% more gross power and 15% more torque than its predecessor, enabling it to handle demanding work environments more effectively. Additionally, it boasts a 6% increase in lifting force and rated load, allowing operators to manage larger volumes of material with greater ease. Fuel efficiency has also been improved by up to 8%, which helps reduce operating costs while maintaining high productivity.

The WA700-8 is equipped with several advanced features aimed at improving the operator's experience. The new advanced joystick steering system and electronic pilot control levers provide precision and ease of operation. Automation features such as the automatic digging system, semi-automatic approach, and semi-auto dump systems simplify repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency. 

Safety and control are further enhanced with the variable traction control system, which helps prevent tire slippage on challenging terrains, and the modulated clutch system that offers smooth transitions between forward and reverse. The KomVision camera system provides a comprehensive view of the machine’s surroundings, while the Komtrax Plus system offers remote monitoring and data-driven insights to minimize unplanned downtime.
