Job Summary

Tooling Specialty Technician II will be responsible for tool inventory, inspection, and testing of a particular product line of tools. Responsible for the timely completion of project requests assigned. Responsible for cleaning, testing, calibration, and restocking of special tools. Will revise project schedules and assign equipment as needed when inspections are successful and complete.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Keep housekeeping of the warehouse by safety standards and adhere to all safety regulations
  • General understanding of the assigned product line tooling or discipline, like gas productivity, technology, electric, precision, and hydraulic tool kits, etc.
  • Ability to interpret and read procedures, drawings, and manuals
  • Adjust, repair, and maintain tooling
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and ascertain maintenance required, including determining the appropriate tools and equipment required to complete a task.
  • Assembly of specialist tooling kit and sub-kits on schedule to meet the tool center schedules.
  • Ensure quality control and stock of materials for re-stocking of kits and sub-kits.
  • Deliver kits and sub-kits with no quality defects (lost parts or defective parts) when delivered.
