Brüks Siwertell introduces a new model of mobile wood chipper

The innovative design of the wood chipping machine mounted on a truck offers flexibility and high-capacity chipping for various applications, including the production of fuel chips. Anders Svalaträ, Area Sales Manager for Mobile Chippers at Bruks Siwertell, emphasizes, “Our portfolio of industrial mobile chippers has been meticulously developed to enhance the cost-effective production of biofuel chips, revolutionizing the energy harvesting process. The introduction of this latest model further builds upon our established designs, providing customers with an exceptionally versatile, reliable, and efficient wood-processing machine.

The chipping unit of the Bruks 1006.3 RT is constructed on a compact frame featuring a slewing base, offering an optional side-positioned infeed. This design ensures the consistent quality of chips while processing full-length trees and logs with a diameter of up to 60cm for softwood and a maximum diameter of 50cm for hardwood, as well as brushwood. The latest 1006 units come equipped with cutting-edge diesel engines that comply with European Union (EU) Stage V regulations. With a power output of 585kW (796hp) and a maximum torque rating of 3,650Nm, the engine provides enhanced power and torque within the speed range utilized during the chipping process.
