Heavy Duty Field Mechanic, Earth Moving Equipment

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr equipment and parts such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox/drive train, etc. to fix moderate to intricate problems.
• Do new and used equipment preparation, routine maintenance, repair or overhaul typically involving component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment, including warranty upgrades.
• Recondition and repair equipment parts and systems.
• Do servicing of Liebherr equipment, fluid checks, sample pulling, oil and filter checks, lubricant change, filter replacement, greasing machine lube points, etc.
• Ensure components, material and/or equipment is inspected, is corrected to specifications and ensure timely delivery programs are attained.
• Ensure all final verifications as detailed in work instructions, scope of work, verbal communication and specifications are performed and complete.
