Heavy Equipment Technician

NorthStar Equipment Rentals is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to a standard and routine to carry out different kinds of maintenance on small and heavy construction equipment and different machinery
• Test equipment that has been repaired to run properly and ensure that the work completed is according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Capacity to diagnose and troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane/NG systems
• Change oil, lubricate equipment, replace tires, repair hoses, replace batteries, and provide miscellaneous services.
• Recondition and replace miscellaneous parts on all equipment
• Diagnose the areas of problem for any severe wear or damage on the equipment
