Heavy Equipment Technician

Komatsu is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Position Qualifications

• Diagnostic and repair experience on heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
• Ability to work on major repairs, rebuilds, or replacements of engines and other major components
• Understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, etc. systems
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft products as well as industry software
• Ability to read and write the English language
• Have a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues, management, and support resources, with a constant focus on teamwork and outstanding customer service.
• Seek out and attend available company-sponsored training and meetings proactively to enhance and build a knowledge base and skill set.
• Skill to document repair information in concise and correct service notes on assigned work orders
