Major tasks and duties

  • Timely diagnosis and repair of the Kalmar product lines in the field at customer locations
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance as per schedule
  • Hand, air, and electric hand tool usage; forklift, small crane, and mechanical hoist operation as required
  • Perform product training for the customer and dealer technicians to make them competent
  • Assess and help with warranty claims
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to create solutions to field problems of operation.
  • Support field personnel with documentation, labor reports, work orders, and inspections
  • Provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Make contact with customers to communicate the diagnosis and fix issues encountered in the field
