Summary
This position will provide validation support for the Harvesting Electrical and Electronic Systems Validation Team, who is responsible for verification and validation of electrical and software systems on harvesting equipment in a variety of test environments, both virtually and physically. We do Software in the Loop, Hardware in the Loop, Vehicle in the Loop and in-field End-Customer Validation to ensure our products meet our customer’s expectations. 

Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer Intern in the Harvesting Electrical and Electronic Systems Validation Team you will be responsible for developing, executing and documenting tests on electronic, electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems on crop harvesting equipment.  Responsibilities Include:
Develop tests according to software specifications and conduct software testing both on site and in the field.
Debug and troubleshoot failed electronic components, mechanical and electrical assemblies, and software systems using test equipment and schematics.
Support troubleshooting of issues as they occur from electrical and software viewpoints, including hands on vehicle work with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Analyze and review electrical architecture for troubleshooting, validation, and root cause analysis.
Collect and evaluate test data; Understand and use data to support the development team to resolve operational issues and introduce new design modifications. Evaluates test specifications and process for opportunities to revise and improve.
Conduct root cause analysis of in-service problems (operational hazards, homologation, parts obsolescence, corrosion effects, reliability and maintainability trends, safety hazards and failure cause and effects) and implements corrective action.
Contribute to software and system engineering design/development activity and related problem solving
 

Qualifications
Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree (Software, Computer, Electrical, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering, or Related degree)
