AWP or Forklift Mechanics

We are now recruiting top-notch AWP or Forklift Technicians for our customers in Australia.

Typical duties that you might do include:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on AWPs and forklifts.
• Reading drawings and specifications to establish appropriate material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and perform required repairs.
• Replace or repair faulty parts with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Assembling fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal subassemblies and parts to create machines and equipment
• Troubleshooting defects and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and fixing mechanical parts and fluid power machinery
• Keep thorough records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Assembling machines and equipment in the field
