THE ROLE

As our business expands, we’re looking to establish a dedicated Hydraulics Technician to be responsible for the service and rebuild of all performance brake calipers, dampers, power steering systems, and hydraulic pumps. Supporting our busy Hydraulics Department. Our Hydraulics Technicians develop skills across a range of competition vehicles with the opportunity for international travel as part of our winning teams.    ​​

The role responsibilities include:

•    Building and set-up of hydraulic components including brake calipers, dampers, power steering systems, and hydraulic pumps.
•    Servicing and rebuilding all hydraulic components.
•    Working closely with our Hydraulics Supervisor and Engineers on technical issues identified and suggestions for improvement. 
•    Liaising with the Engineering Department to operate the in-house dyno facilities and ensure all competition cars are built to the required specifications.
•    Responsible for keeping all build documents filled and up to date. 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.
  • You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
  • You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.
  • You should have experience in a similar mechanical/automotive background. Experience within motorsport is desirable but not essential.
  • You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
