Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic

Description

Grand Targhee Resort seeks a hands-on Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will assist in servicing and repairing heavy equipment, snowcats, trucks, snowmobiles, small engines, and other equipment. Experience in diesel, gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems is required. Our fleet of snowcats is on a three-year rotation and our NEW Facility allows you to perform your duties in a work-class environment.  Pay is dependent upon experience.

SUMMARY

Perform basic repairs and maintenance of equipment, including snow cats, snow machines, ATVs, vehicles, heavy equipment, and small engines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 Perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment by following instructions of the shop supervisor.
 Assist with major repairs of equipment.
 Perform routine services of equipment (oil changes, grease machines, etc.
 Maintained service records for machine services and repairs.
 Maintain a safe and clean work area by following company safety policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort and shop morale by demonstrating a positive and cooperative attitude and performing duties as assigned.
 Maintain shop tools and equipment through proper organization.
 Improve technical knowledge by attending seminars and training courses.
 Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
